STEAM FEST 2026 was a fantastic celebration of learning and creativity at Oakgrove Integrated Primary School. Today, our whole school came together as Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 pupils explored a vibrant range of STEAM activities, while every Key Stage 2 class proudly facilitated its own interactive station. Children learned about, designed and tested bridges and catapults, created Anderson Shelters both on paper and using AI, and experimented with electronics to build incredible Robo‑Cups that could draw independently. They also explored the history of our city walls and constructed impressive models inspired by what they discovered. Every pupil from Primary 1–4 took part as enthusiastic participants, while Primary 5–7 pupils showed knowledges and leadership as facilitators, with Primary 6 also taking on vital roles as guides, timers and greeters. The event showcased outstanding scientists, digital leaders, engineers, creatives and mathematical thinkers from across the school. STEAM FEST truly reflected our mission of “Celebrating Diversity – Learning Together for Life” as children collaborated, problem‑solved and shared their ideas. We are incredibly proud of how our pupils.
