The Oakgrove IPSN running team competed in Athletics NI regional races this year. The school was very well represented at the North West races. Oakgrove’s teams attended all three races with a total of thirty-six pupils taking part.
To qualify for the team over 80 children attended lunchtime trials. Mr McGurk would like to thank all the children who tried so hard to get into the team.
With such effort, dedication and enthusiasm for running in the school, the future certainly looks bright for the school running team.
