Both Primary 6 classes took part in an exciting Raise Tower Bridge workshop, where they interacted with Isobel from the City Bridge Foundation in London on a Zoom call. They had the chance to ask her lots of thoughtful questions about the bridge and its history. During the session, she also demonstrated Scratch challenges to raise Tower Bridge, and later in the day the classes applied their learning by creating their own block‑coding for Tower Bridge—lifting the bridge for different sizes of boats, and even a giant rubber duck! This engaging activity inspired pupils to think creatively, solve problems and develop the innovative skills.
