Primary 6 were delighted to be involved in the Maths Week Ireland - Maths Fair. They were able to engage in lots of practical activities that promoted resilience and collaboration as well as developing maths skills.
Children were encourage to take thinking time and use play to learn about methods to problem solve number based activities and shape and space activities.
This was a great opportunity to be involved in and everyone really enjoyed using their maths skills and developing critical thinking through maths play. Thank you to Mrs Sargent, our Numeracy coordinator for this wonderful opportunity.
