Introducing Mirco:bits to Primary Schools

As part of Northern Ireland Science Festival, Primary 5 joined the Nerve Centre and Amma Centre for an exclusive live webinar to introduce BBC micro:bits to Primary schools.  It was streamed live into the computer suite. The engaging event unveiled the wonders of micro:bits through three hands-on coding demos.
Jake from Primary 5A really enjoyed the webinar, he said “After Primary 6 ICT geniuses previously showing us
the micro:bits, we were able to follow the step by step instructions on how to do simple coding activities on a micro bit”.
