AWARE Paws b Programme in P6

					            					            This term, Primary 6 pupils took part in the AWARE Paws b six week programme, where they explored mindfulness and emotional wellbeing through a series of engaging lessons. The children learned to:
- Understand how our amazing brains work
 - Work with difficult thoughts and feelings
 - Become aware of their choices
 - React versus respond
 - Focus their attention
 - Recognise the power of thoughts
 - Practise everyday mindfulness
 - See thoughts clearly
 - Notice the wobble
 - Grow their happiness
 - Ground themselves
 - Take notice of the good stuff
 
The programme helped pupils build resilience, improve focus, and develop tools to support their mental health in everyday life. A special thank you to Madonna our wonderful facilitator.
