Oakgrove cross country running team had their first outing of the year on Friday 19th October. The team was made up of 21 boys and girls from P5 to P7. The day was enjoyed by all who took part although the weather conditions on the day made the Templemore course very wet and slippery. All members of the team performed really well on the day. Luke from P7 did really well in the opening race finishing 4th. He then went on to post a good time in the boys race. To add to this success the boys put in a very good team performance with 4 boys finishing in the top 30 runners. Well done to all the boys and girls who took part and Good Luck in the next cross country run in December.
