Around the World in 80 Beats

As part of Community relations week, some of the children in Primary 7 took part in the "Around the Work in 80 beats" workshop.  Musical heritage and tradition are powerful tools in unifying people from different backgrounds. The workshop connected drums from 6000BC to the Electronic sounds of 2012, through the eyes and skills of a DJ and their Music Technology.  The children really enjoyed the experience and manage to create a song, with vocals, themselves.  They then burned their cd and mixed it.
